My passion for adventure travel was fuelled when I gave up the world of high finance in London for the high mountains in the Himalayas. After hiking across Australasia and South Africa I slipped back into city life for a few more years, before packing it in for good. My next move was to learn Spanish and explore Latin America.  I spent 18 months discovering the continent, from Guatemala down to Patagonia, working for a charity, leading trekking groups, hiking through the Andes, watching the wild-life, and tripping over people while learning to salsa.

After all that I knew the only job for me was in travel. In 1999 I became a tour leader for a UK adventure tour operator and spent eight years leading trekking holidays across Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. I've climbed Kilimanjaro 8 times, Aconcagua 3 times, trekked to Everest Base Camp 5 times and been to Machu Picchu 6 times! I also specialize in leading large charity-fundraising groups to high summits.

I moved to Vancouver in 2007 and have been working as an Adventure Travel Agent ever since, and continue to lead several trips per year.
