Michele is delighted to be working
with Climb for Change. Below are the details of the amazing trip that we arranged in January 2011:
The 2011
Climb For Change Mexico Volcano Expedition is an important charity climb for disadvantaged kids, and a personal mountaineering
challenge to the third highest peak in North America and the second most prominent volcanic peak in the world: Pico de Orizaba
- 18,491 feet (5,636 meters). In January 2011, twelve Climb For Change leaders embarked on their personal and charitable
mission to climb and fundraise for charity partner Power to Be Adventure Therapy. Several months of high-altitude mountaineering
training, teambuilding and leadership helped us climb the peak of Mexico and, together with your support, we raised over
$30,000CAD and this will enable Power to Be to provide more access to outdoor education programs and decrease waitlists for
kids with disabilities and at-risk youth in British Columbia Canada.
Please support Climb For Change by spreading
the word.
